Kehtron
Computers provides a one-year labor & one-year limited parts
warranty, on newly purchased Kehtron computer systems. The warranty
includes the basic Kehtron computer and the Kehtron monitor, unless
otherwise indicated for a special system. It does not include
the parts installed from an old system for upgrades, or individual
parts purchased separately. Warranty of the printers, scanners,
and any other special devices is subject to the limitations of
the Manufacturer of these devices.
All parts should be inspected at the time of receipt. Any claims
for erroneous orders or damaged goods must be made within 7 days
of purchase date, otherwise products are deemed to have been accepted
in good condition.
Kehtron offers full money back for seven days and 60 day direct
replacement on defective components. There will be a 15% restocking
fee after 7 days within a 30-day period. A copy of the original
receipt is required for these services. For returns, all component
documentation, packaging, cables, and diskettes associated are
required in salable condition. It is recommended to keep all boxes
for at least one year, since many of the manufacturers of the
various products we carry, extend special consideration to customers
who return products in original packaging & condition.
Warranty does not imply replacement of defective parts. Kehtron
reserves the right to either repair or replace the part as deemed
by the Company. Replacement of defective part(s) assumes that
there is no sign of physical abuse applied on the component(s).
If some parts are not available due to technological changes,
there will be an upgrade charge for the new version of a similar
product. In case of a manufacturer going out of business, we will
no longer provide the warranty for that specific part.
Kehtron’s entire
liability for any defective part(s) shall in no event exceed the
original purchase price of the defective product. Kehtron shall
not be liable under any circumstances for lost profits, loss of
use, lost data or for any damages while the system is in for
service.
Warning:
Lightning and electrical surges can strike anywhere and anytime.
These damages are usually covered by your home insurance policy,
and Kehtron will assist you in determining the degree of damage
when you need to file with your Insurance Company. The best protection
against such a situation is to unplug your computer and disconnect
the modem. Surge strips are not fully adequate to protect your
computer.
Viruses and software conflicts are not covered under this warranty.
